Hello FolksHere is a polygraph piece that was taped in Nashville at the APA conference. We will try to get more coverage wherever we can. Channel 5 News covers the American Polygraph Association Seminar in Nashville, Tennessee. Hey Dan,Did somebody in the organization drop the tip to the media or did they just get wind? I'm wondering because its good press and I was wondering if that is something we can try to make happen each year. ------------------ Ralph Hilliard PolygraphPlace Owner & Operator Be sure to visit our new store for all things Polygraph Related http://store.polygraphplace.com IP: Logged |

By "good press" I assume you mean "not disparaging" and not that it is high-quality journalism.r ------------------ "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the war room." --(Stanley Kubrick/Peter Sellers - Dr. Strangelove, 1964)

Correct. I'm not sure 'high quality' network tv journalism exists anymore, so we take what we can get.------------------ Ralph Hilliard PolygraphPlace Owner & Operator Be sure to visit our new store for all things Polygraph Related http://store.polygraphplace.com IP: Logged |

Ralph:This was something that I did on my own. On Saturday before the conference, I contacted all of the local media and informed them that we would be there. The APA didn't have to pay a dime for the PR. I have since been in contact with the reporter who advised me that the segment was so well received that his boss wants to do a follow up piece in October. I will have Pam Shaw conduct a similiar test like she did in Indy. I would encourage any member of a state organization or association to contact their local media to have some type of contact. It is my plan and goal to have something like this every year at the APA. IP: Logged |
